  • How quickly can this be funded?

    In as little as 2 Hours you will know if we are interested, and we can typically fund the asset purchse within 24 hours. ( Completed Prior to 12 pm weekdays).

  • Is there a limit to the amount you will purchase?

    The dollar amount of our typical purchase is around $25,000 ranging up over $100,000.

  • Why is the offer based on the carrier's latest approved estimate?

    The offer we make, and quickly fund, must be based on the approved claim value. If you have received a pre-approval for changes made during the project,we can work from that amount.

  • What will my customer experience?

    Wingate has a proven process for setting the policy holder at ease. We are very experienced in handling the claim process through to payment and keep the policy holder informed with each step.  The relationship with your customer becomes our highest priority as we assume the receivable.

  • What will you tell my customer?

    With mortgages being sold every day this is not often a concern, but we do approach with this message. Contractors who do insurance work often have to wait 6 months or more to be paid. Our service allows them to move up that timeline in order to smooth the cash flow cycle. The contractor is busy building the next roof.

  • Does the project need to be complete?

    The project should be 95-100% complete with no major deficiencies, according to the policy holder. Wingate is not contractor or a collection agency. The receivable should be issue free.

  • Do you work with all insurance carriers?

    Although we will work with any carrier, the carrier can be a factor in our purchase offer.

  • Can the claim be partially paid?

    Yes. We are happy to review a claim where a portion has been paid

  • How old is too old?


    We evaluate receivables on a case-by-case basis, but we generally won't spend time on a project that is more than 1 year old from the date of completion.

  • Can we sell more than once?

    Wingate exists to help smooth cash flow cycles, and these happen on a regular basis. We hope to serve you as needed in the future as well!

  • What if the claim has a mortgage company as a party to the payment?

    We will not eliminate a receivable because a mortgage company is involved. 

  • Who handles any warranty work on the property if it needed??

    The contractor retains all obligation to remedy any workmanship issues on the project. 

  • Does the amount of the deductible make a difference in the approval process?

    We do have parameterers concerning the % of the deductible to the full claim amount. This is a factor when determing if to fund.
